Congratulations to our gardeners on Somerset Street. Last fall they had a great harvest of organic vegetables. The gardeners grow their plants on the mezzanine in raised tables. Downtown Ottawa always figures prominently in photos of their garden. SOG is always happy to bring them seeds, seedlings from our favourite organic growers, compost, and tools so that they can continue to get outdoors and work together. They are well-organized and they proudly share their food with each other, friends, family, and neighbours. They are one of our long standing success stories.
