Thanks to the grant from the Ottawa Community Foundation, SOG once again purchased a wide variety of organic herb and vegetable seedlings. We delivered the seedlings to ten different community groups. The gardeners were impressed with the quality of the plants. For this we thank our favourite growers-Catherine at Northern Seeds and Mat at Slow Roots Farm. SOG volunteers love making the drive to pick up the plants and delivering the plants to enthusiastic gardeners. Thank you to our volunteers from OCH who helped with the pick up and delivery from Kemptville. We wish our gardeners a bountiful harvest.
