The gardeners on Somerset Street have had a hugely successful gardening season. They garden in raised self-watering tables and in buckets on the mezzanine of their centre town building. Thanks to the NHS grant, SOG was able to purchase a few more tables from Lee Valley, organic soil and seeds, and many organic seedlings from Slow Roots Farm in Kemptville. SOG wishes to thank Mat at Slow Roots Farm for sourcing and growing the specific Asian vegetables that the gardeners requested. Since this photo was taken, the gardeners have had subsequent harvests that they have shared with their neighbours.
