The gardeners on Clementine had spectacular success with their raised beds. SOG delivered organic seeds for sowing and organic herb and vegetable seedlings from Northern Seeds and Slow Roots Farm. These experienced gardeners spent a great deal of time outdoors carefully tending their beds and solving the challenges that gardeners face including weather, critters, insects, and what to do with all the food they produced.
We are glad they increased their physical activity, social interaction, and consumption of fresh organic food. Vegetable gardeners generally expand the variety of fresh produce they consume when they grow the food themselves. Senior Organic Gardeners congratulate them and thank them for helping us to achieve our mission. We look forward to continued partnerships with the gardeners on Clementine.
